Accommodation rental

The vacation accommodations are primarily designed to accommodate families. If you wish to rent an accommodation and your party does not consist (for the most part) of families or relatives, please inform us before booking. We will then inform the owner whether he agrees with the composition of your party. Usually there is then also a local (extra) deposit required.

Prices

All prices on our website are per accommodation per week (not per person). Croatia Villa works with fluctuating prices, which are based on supply and demand. If applicable, last-minute and offers are incorporated in the rate. Because of this it can happen that prices fluctuate and an already booked accommodation might be offered cheaper or more expensive later. The current rates are always listed on our website.

on the spot

In Croatia, someone is present to assist you with questions and/or problems. With your travel documents you will receive an accommodation voucher with name, address and phone number of an owner and/or manager.

Construction work

In busy tourist destinations there is always the possibility of construction activities taking place near the accommodation. We ask for your understanding that Croatia Villa cannot take responsibility for this.

Cleaning

Each accommodation is set up for 'self-catering'. This means that at the time of your stay, you must take care of the daily maintenance yourself. Before your arrival and after your departure, we take care of cleaning the accommodation. Final cleaning is always included in the rental price. Change of bed linen is 1x per week, usually on Saturdays. Towels are generally changed once a week.

Arrival and departure

You will meet a contact person on site who will accompany you to the villa or you will drive directly to the accommodation, which varies by accommodation. You will receive the coordinates of the accommodation in the travel documents. The accommodations are available from 16:00. The usual arrival time is between 16:00 and 20:00. If you arrive later or only the next day, please inform the contact person. You are requested to leave the accommodation no later than 10:00 am on the departure day. The voucher will indicate the exact procedure and times applicable at your accommodation.

Paspoortgegevens

Passport details of all persons staying in the accommodation are usually requested on site. This is a legal obligation. Every owner/landlord is obliged to enter this data, no later than the day of arrival, into a government system.

Changeover day

The changeover day is usually Saturday in high season.
A fixed changeover day may sometimes be deviated from in low season.

Number of guests

It is not allowed to occupy the accommodation with more than the maximum number of guests allowed. At the time of reservation, you must specify the correct number of persons. If it appears that you occupy the accommodation with more persons than specified, this may result in the rental agreement being terminated. The owner or manager of the accommodation may refuse the extra persons access to the accommodation.

Pets

You can select accommodations on the Croatia Villa website that are pet-friendly. There are costs involved (usually between 6 and 20 euros per pet per day) and often an extra deposit is requested and you may be asked to provide a health certificate. Usually a maximum of 1 pet (in case of multiple pets we will contact the owner and ask).

Additional costs

Consumption of water, electricity, cleaning costs, linen and towels (no bath towels) is usually included in the price. A few villas have a heatable pool and the cost of this is usually not included in the price. This also applies to renting e.g. a baby bed or high chair. Ask about additional costs when booking.

Security deposit

You pay a security deposit in cash on the spot. In Croatia, this must almost always be paid in cash. Upon departure from the accommodation, the deposit will be refunded by the key holder less any damage or missing items.

Travel documents

Approximately 1 week before departure, travel documents will be sent by email. This includes: voucher for the accommodation, coordinates, address details and contact information of the landlord.
