A settlement in the southeastern part of the Istrian peninsula, in the bay of the same name, located between the forested peninsula of Ubas in the west and Cape Koromačno in the east. The Koromačno settlement was created for the needs of a cement factory that uses tupina from the nearby Gradac hill, located above the Vošćica bay. The cement factory was built in 1925. In the center of the settlement was the church of Sv. Joseph, out of office today. Near Koromačno are located one of the most important archaeological and historical sites of the municipality of Raša. Underwater finds of amphorae dated to 4/5 were discovered in Koromačno Bay in the late 1980s. On the hill Gradac (475 m above sea level) there was a hillfort settlement dating from the Early Bronze Age to the Iron Age, but it was destroyed due to the exploitation of tupina in the quarry. On the same hill was the medieval tower of Turan, ruled by the Battiala family. North of the hillfort is the church of Sv. Ivan Glavosijek dated 13/14. century, with the remains of wall paintings from the 14th century. The church is of Romanesque style, with an inscribed semicircular apse, had a porch and a transept on the facade, which were removed in 1993 during the restoration of the church.
